Habitat:
On bank of small stream at the bottom of a damp gully in partial shade. Local canopy vegetation is regenerating native bush dominated by kanuka, with some tree fuschia, 5-finger etc. Not a lot of other ground level vegetation.
Notes:
Plant Register ID: 2005/084The area was previously grazed exotic/native pasture, until about 15 years ago (but parts of this gully were filled with kanuka/fuschia even then based on an aerial photo we have from about this time).
