Notes:
Plant Register ID: 2004/471Collected as ripe black berries.Resistant to the herbicide 'paraquat'. The S. [Solanum] americanum is directly comparable with the Solanum nigrum samples, as they were sown on the same day and grown under the same conditions. From what I've seen, the S. americanum appears to have quite different cotyledons, to initiate flowering about a week after S. nigrum, and to have more sparse flowers - which are noticeably smaller. The fruit is forming but not ripe yet.
