Notes:
Clump-forming herb with corms. Stem c. 1 m high, mauve-flushed towards apex. Branches with red stems. Bracts ± scarious, at least at anthesis. Perianth c. 7 cm long; tube orange-pink; lower part c. 2.5 cm long, upper part c. 2.5 cm long, curving forward, ampliate; lobes 1.5 - 2.3 cm long, pale nondescript pink, mucronate, somewhat unequal; lower 2 tending recurved; posterior lobe largest. Stamens slightly < perianth lobes, arched under upper perianth lobe; anthers dark blue. Style > stamens; stigmas pink. Adventive.
