Notes:
Glumes c. 3 mm long, awns short 0.25 - 0.5 mm. Upper glume slightly longer than lower. Spikelets disarticulate above glumes. 2 sterile lemmas 5-6 mm long + scabrous awns 1-2 mm long.One fertile lemma + c. 5 mm long, blunt with "denticle", ciliolate in upper half. Palea membranous. Ligule < 0.5 mm fringed. Sterile lemmas with tuft of long hairs at base, fertile lemma without.
