Tree (spontaneous). Calyx tube c. 1 cm long, broad cylindric, crimson except for base. Sepals crimson. Petals 1.3-1.5 cm, broadly ovate or oblong ovate, pink usually emarginate. Filaments whitish, becoming crimson.
