K10. Seedling. Tree in full flwr & part foliage. Tall upright tree. Habit resembles P. cerasoides & P. c. rubea. Bark greyish - long lenticels in [illegible] rings. Lowest part of trunk peeling black as in P. cerasoides rubea.

Petals c 1.7 cm long, broad elliptic; emarginate, tending erect. Petals pink. ♂ pale pink. Calyx red, greenish-red near apex.
