Fruit.Scandent to 5 m or more then pendant from understorey shrubs. Primary stem 8-10 mm dbh, bark pale brown, papery. Known at this site since about 1998, but only as a ground creeper. Snow storm in 2001 created a light gap - young stems ascending Dac.dac. to 1.5 m, but this fruiting plant obviously older and not seen before (1st NIs fruiting record). This specimen is not from site of CHR 500757, but several hundred metres distant - the 2nd Paengaroa site found.
