Habitat:
Chionochloa rigida tussockland in shapt depression.
Notes:
Female plant in fruit, only this one seen with an inflorescence. Plant 1.7 m diameter, 7 rosettes, 1 inflorescence this year. Inflorescence 1.90 m high. Stem 600 mm long, 48 mm diameter, yellow. Head 1300 mm, 540 mm wide at base, 270 mm wide at mid-head. 9 sterile bracts at base of head. Attitude of bracts 70° at base, 90° at mid-head, 85° near apex. Sap clear, all leaves glaucous.
