Supplementary remarks:
Plant dark brown-green. Stem cortical cells firm-walled; central strand present; Leaves strongly secund, weakly falcate, strongly concave, mostly c. 2.5 mm finely serrulate at apex; mid laminal cells linear, firm-walled, not porose, mostly 60-75 (-90 µm; alar cells gradually differentiated and forming a rather large group of moderately inflated and thin-walled cells, neither auriculate nor decurrent, in some leaves reaching nearly to the costa base; costa extend c. 3/4 the leaf length, ending far below the leaf apex.
