Notes:
At least one big adult vine to 7m on Taiwan cherry. 100s of seedlings below by light wells. Disturbed forest on alluvial toeslope above stream; E-facing. Puriri, Kohekohe, Taiwan cherry, taraire/mamaku, woolly nightshade, pate, mahoe, pigeonwood/kawakawa, mahoe, hangehange, nikau, karaka/Microlaena stipoides, woollly nightshade, Solanum americanum, annuals. Other weeds present from gardens on other side stream - swan plant, climbing asparagus, Jerusalem cherry. Passionfruit seedling leaves are pale green, slightly variegated and in light wells & edges of lightwells in light moderate shade. Probably gravity & bird spread. Fruit green berry ripening to black: 11mm long × 12mm across; stems 7-8mm thick. Flowers cream with a reddish rim, c.15mm across. Collection (seedlings, fruiting stems, flowering shoots) over 4 sheets (AK 305720, 305726-28).
