Notes:
On north side of rock. Growing on schist ledges and rubble in steep, verticle slot with Coprosma dumosa (AK 301723) and C. propinqua. Six shrubs up to 2m tall, most suckering extensively as the result of past rock falls. Inner bark blood red when exposed. Apparently the first record for Central Otago. Most plants seen male. One female had malformed fruit (not collected.
