Notes:
Abundant. Next to Leptinella featherstonii the second most common plant on the reef. Common on peat ledges in areas frequented by seals, in boulderfalls, and within rock crevices, often forming monocultures. Plants decumbent forming circular patches up to 1m long × 0.20 m high. Basal rosette leaves mostly not persisting at flowering, leaves extremely fleshy succulent, spathulate mostly notched 3(-6) times at the apex, cauline leaves similar but smaller sometimes more toothed along lamina margins or entire. Flowers white, petals rather small and sometimes obscured by sepals, stamens 4 though often with two rudimentary. Silicles green, distinctly turgid when fresh, orbicular to suborbicular apex not particularly acute, wing absent, style remnant persistant, free of silicula. A thorough survey of the reef located 728 mature plants. AFLP DNA Voucher, nrDNA ITS Voucher. = Lepidium aff oleraceum (b).HOLOTYPE: AK; ISOTYPE to CANB, CHR
