Habitat:
Skeletal soil on limestone.
Notes:
Rosette forming herb with slender sinuately toothed or lobed leaves. Central vein white, leaves slightly paler beneath and hairy along dorsal surface of central vein.Inflorescence a single capitulum at the end of a long scape (to 40cm). Involucral bracts green. Ray and disc florets bright yellow; shrivel and close as specimens dry. Common weed of lawn areas near airport, golf club and at this telecommunication centre on hilltop outside main settlement. Occaisonal plants observed in other settlements around island.Specimens sent to: BRI, CHR, BISH
