Notes:
Locally common in shrubland bordering raised bog. Associated with and hybridising with, Olearia arborescens (AK 289468). Other associates include Corokia cotoneaster. Hebe stricta var. stricta, Coprosma propinqua, Halocarpus biformis and Manoao colensoi. Plant collected from same site as Olearia capillaris DNA Voucher (AK 289113). DNA voucher for Landcare Research Olearia study.
