Notes:
One tree c. 3m tall, partially covered in Muehlenbeckia aff. australis. Emergent with Melicytus chathamicus. Bark flaking reddish-grey, leaves villous, green to dark green, broadly lanceolate, apices not especially pungent. Flowers white, 5-8 mm diam., petals overlapping, margins crinkled. The common Auckland form obviously not native to the island. Fruits not present. Tree unhealthy and dying. DNA voucher. DUPLICATE TO: CHR, NSW
