Notes:
Male tree in full flower. Flowers with white petals, strongly smelling of rotting meat. Blowflies commonly observed visiting flowers and getting covered in pollen. Pollen transfer to adjacent female trees observed. Thus despite apparently wind-pollinated flower syndrome, some insect pollination seems likely. nrDNA ITS voucher, University of Auckland.
