Notes:
Well established infestation stemming from a planted tree in Stubb's garden. 50-60 adult and sub-adult trees and innumerable saplings and seedlings growing on old slip scar above the road. Flowers brilliant orange, much utilised by tui. The same species is present in Waitomo where it has not shown the same propensity to naturalise.
