Habitat:
On serpentive cliff face just west of waterfall.
Notes:
Locally common. Plants gorwing in dense scrub developed under pohutukawa (Metresideros excelsa) trees. Associactes with houpara (Pseudopanax aff lessonii) Pittosporum serpintinum. This location was the only site where Macropiper was seen during the 2009-2011 survey of the unltramafic part of the North Cape area.
