Specimen notes
Herbarium history:
Herbarium K.W. Allison No.1,123
Supplementary remarks:
A problematic specimen with short (2-3.5 mm). obovate narrowly bordered leaves, in comae, polysetose, elongate capsules. This material intermediate between Bryum billardierei (as examplified by CHR 517403) and B. leptothecium and providing support for recognition of latter at varietal level (as var. platyloma).
Allan Fife, September 1998
