Notes:
Single small shrub growing in a crack within an exposed portion of basalt lava flow just above footpath. Other planted specimens common in nearby garden. Although seed was not seen on these I am convinced this specimen was a genuine wilding, as I cannot see how otherwise one could have planted it within the narrow lava crack its rootstock is lodged in.DUPLICATE SENT TO: CHR, WAIK
