Notes:
Leaves large & leathery. Shiny dark green above, paler green below. Margins serrated - fairly uniform. Stems squarish & twisted at each leaf node in slight spiral fashion. Largest leaf 90mm x 52mm. Flowers hot pink. Approx. 14mm long. Flowers 2 per axil, on 3 planes - facing upwards. Fruit forming. Calyx alternately pink & green stripes (5 stripes of each colour noted). Fresh young flower bud collected as well. Sticky glands on stems. Plants covering a large cliff face, facing to sea. Five plants seen. All with large leaves & hot pink flowers. Each plant about 15m x 3-4m. Sprawling down cliff. Planted??
