Scrub on alluvial fan of Podocarpus nivalis, Brachyglottis cassinioides, Olearia cymbifolia, Olearia nummularifolia, Aciphylla scott-thomsonii.
Notes:
Male plant, flowering almost finished. 3 rosettes, 3 flowering spikes. Plant diameter 145cm, rosettes 110cm diameter. Spikes 192cm tall, head 129cm long, 60cm wide. Stem 49cm long, pale yellow-green, 65mm diameter. Lowest bracts have the largest flower panicle. Leaves glaucous, all 1-pinnate, all with 3 pairs of pinnae. Sap clear.
