Leaves 8-18 x 1-2cm glaucous below, long tapered tips, unequal at base. Bracts 12-17 x 5.5-8.5cm, plus deciduous sheath blade 5-7 x 3-3.5cm triangular on a relatively broad base. Sheath blade erect. Sheaths not persistent. (Bambusa glaucescens (Willd.) Holtt. (=B. multiplex), W.R. Sykes 27/11/1996).
