Clg. [Climbing] on fence & coconut trunk. Leaves divided ternately, lateral branches each bearing 4 leaflets sympodially decreasing in size 20 x 7cm to 5.5 x 3cm. Laterally irreg. central leaflet 22 x 6. Oblanceolate petiole 40cm incl. sheath 18cm. Fls in cluster of ± nine or more in axil, opening sequentially from stem to leaf. Mature flower with cream coloured spathe reflexed 90° from round male spadix. Female spadix enclosed in green "sheath". Spathe 9 x 7cm tightly rolled clasping spadix. Male spadix 5 x 1.5 female spadix 3 x 1cm. Stigmas capitate on c.0.5mm short style broader than high.
