Transportational midslope. Shrubland. West-facing slope 30° slope.
Notes:
20 plants seen in ~5ha site. No plants flowering or fruiting at time of survey so could not determine sex. Only mature adults at site, no seedlings or juveniles seen. Most plants 2.5-3.5m in height; 3-5m canopy diameter. Semi-natural community. Overall shrub cover at site ~60%. Shrubs 2-4m in height. Associated shrub species (in order of abundance): matagouri, Sophora prostrata, Muehlenbeckia complexa, Clematis afoliata, Coprosma propinqua, Carmichaelia australis, Rosa rubiginosa. Ground cover mostly exotic grass. Tenure: Private land. Original Map: E2473599 N5797046.
