Habitat:
about 5 m back from road edge along front of planted trees.
On lahar surface of Egmont ring plain, Growing in shelter of Pinus radiata and Vitex lucens trees and mixed with rampant shrubs of Elaegnus reflexus.
Notes:
Forming sprawling patch 10 m long, 5 m side and 3 m tall, stems rooting where-ever they touch the ground. Leaves dark dull green above, white below.
Probably planted but now out of control - vegetative spotted only.
