Habitat:
Dry mudstone bank, cut into back of elevated river terrace. North aspect, dry, sunny. Locally abundant among 1m Leptospermum scoparium.
Notes:
Forming patches of tufted plants on near vertical banks. Widespread through whole valley in such sites.
