Habitat:
Valley bottom, top of steep bank above river, exposed site.
Notes:
Small tree 3-4m high, deciduous. Bark dark grey on surface, pink below. Branches ± horizontal. Cones (female) always erect, pink when young. Very common in this wet, windy sector of the Kyirong Gorge. Sheet A to C, B (Fruit), C (Wood).
