Fleshy-stemmed erect herb. Stem & petiole mottled. Spathe mottled, purple or orange. Spathe mottled dark purple and brown to orange, with large auricles; upper spathe curving forwards, white-veined. Appendage of Spadix brownish-white. The "cobra plant". Fairly common. Sheets A to B
