Notes:
Erect, taprooted herbs; stems pink at base, ribbed. Leaves purple-flushed above often, sometimes this confined to central area. Inflor. erect, deep crimson, including ovary. Tepals 5; the 3 somewhat larger outer ones 3-3.5mm long, finely mucronate. Seed c.1.2mm diam., orbicular. A number of plants. Sheets A to B
