Habitat:
Along roadside for several kms, at this point extending at least 20m back into roadside vegetation, mostly tutu & Blechnum ferns. Thick where open, more scattered in shade.

Notes:
A unusual site for this species as it is growing under a canopy. While it seems less vigorous under the canopy it is certainly persistent. Near a stream, but not boggy or very wet.
