Notes:
Originally from Chris Gill (C 13761), it came to us as a small plant and is now 2.5m high. Growing outside the Nursery wall. Vine, herbaceous. Leaves with flattened, dark purple shining petiole. Flowers in simple umbel, each flower with outer perianth whorl 2.3-2.6 cm long, orange-red, dark-tipped; inner perianth whorl 3.2-3.5 cm long, orange-yellow, with dark reddish spots. Perianth segments not diverging. Capsule rugose, to 2.5cm across, dark purple. Seeds bright orange.
