Steep roadside bank, near and at base.
Notes:
Shrubby plant, possibly monocarpic, 2-2.5m high, with a few stout branches near base to c.1.8cm diam. Leaves tending clustered below inflor., deep green above and softly hairy. Inflor. c.25cm x 6-7cm when most flowers are at anthesis, tapering. Corolla pink in bud becoming deep mauve-blue at full anthesis, 1-1.2cm long; limb somewhat irregular. Filaments long-exserted, deep pink. Style pink, very hairy. Part of same population as Sykes 395/98 [CHR 532512]. Sheets A to C
