Notes:
Shrub, possibly monocarpic, c.3m high, branched with a few stout stems to c.4cm diam. Leaves deep green above. Softly hairy, tending clustered in upper part below inflor. Inflor. c.65cm long x 8-9cm across, gradually tapering. Corolla pink in bud, becoming deep mauve-blue, 1-1.3cm long; limb somewhat irregular. Filaments long exserted, purplish-pink. Style pale pink, pubescent. A small population of variable hybrid plant extending for 20-30m along roadside. Sheets A to C
