Indigenous forest margin, amongst grass and rocks, beneath overhanging canopy
Notes:
Aquilegia vulgaris form. Erect herb. Leaves pale glaucescent beneath; basal sheaths purple. Flowers semi-double ("hose in hose"), deep pinkish-red; petals (outer whorl) 2-2.5cm long, including spur. A small colony of 20-30 plants, all that were in flower the same colour as this one. Original grid: S49 (92-93-)(00-01-).
