Habitat:
Stream bank, in pasture.
Notes:
Dense thicket-forming shrub 2.5-3m high, semi-deciduous. Leaves subcoriaceous, shining above with pale network of veins. Racemes pendent. Perianth yellow; remaining more or less campanulate (i.e. not opening widely; segments 5-6mm long, 7-8mm across flower. Nectaries oblong, prominent. Stamens less than petals, yellow. Stigma green, included. Several thickets.
