Notes:
Small dense shrubs to about 50cm high. Shoots more or less pink. Leaves glossy deep green above, spine-tipped. Flowers on recurved pedicels white, female. Fruits (from another plant) 7-8mm diameter, circular and flattened globose, shining cerise-pink; pedicels recurved. Small number of plants seen only.
