Single plant observed through yards. Seeds dispersed on animals from Banks Peninsula ? Tolerant of high nitrogen content of soil. Over many years in the field and numerous contacts with this species, the stinging sustained when collecting this specimen was more severe and intense; the pain was still intense the following day, and was still faint 48 hours after collection.
