Habitat:
Summit of steep andesite island. Growing in rock crevices with south aspect, among Conyza albida, Plantago lanceolata - Lotus suaveolens. Surrounded by 0.5 - 2m Coprosma repens.
Notes:
Plant ID Register: 2001/596.
Flowers spent, but one had dried petals that were bright blue; sepals erect; plants with swollen taproots. Not seen elsewhere on this island (most crevices filled with Ehrharta erecta).
