Damp shaded road verge, sloping down into secondary Weinmannia racemosa - Pseudopanax arboreus forest around a gully.
Notes:
Plant ID Register: 2001/597.On patch about 5m x 1m, on road verge and seemingly invading the indigenous forest for about 4m from forest edge. Leaves coriaceous, dark green, cordate at base. No fertile material seen.
