Notes:
Plant a large coarse clump, to 130 cm tall. Heads short, heavy and short-branched, pendant. Foliage and culms coarse. A similar coarse plant of this nature observed elsewhere over the years. It seems different compared with a Bromus from this site previously (AJH 98/44), and a more "delicate" type collected in the 1970's from a paddock adjacent to the Hurunui County Council office, Amberley.
