Habitat:
Grazed out forest on hillslope (mudstone) c. 10 m above stream. Sparse 8 m Sophora godleyi/ Coprosma propinqua - Leptospermum scoparium
Notes:
This sp. uncommon at this site; shrub 3m tall, bark dark grey-brown, rough; red underbark. Leaves dark glossy green above, paler below. (Same loc. as Olearia gardneri, Ogle no. 3793) Two seedlings of C. wallii seen here.
