A single plant only observed on site. Plant not previously seen here. It has been established for some years in the Linwood Rly. yards, and more recently have found it near the old Christchurch Rly. Station, and on the S. side of Moorehouse Avenue, near Brown's Flour Mill. This specimens without rust - at Linwood Rly. Yds. first noticed specimens heavily infested with a rust malforming the host plants (AJH. 95/49, 21 March 1995).
