Notes:
GM 75/13. Cormous herb. Whole plant collected. 1.2m tall, corm to apex of inflorescence. Seven stem leaves, lower ones much reduced. Large leaf 3cm wide. Inflorescence purplish-flushed, curving slightly. Lowest bract about 8cm long. Flowers secund and in two ranks. Perianth 5-6cm long, curving forward; segments not diverging in lower part greatly. Perianth tube 1-1.5cm long, curved. Outer three perianth segments more or less rosy-magenta, elliptic-obovate; lowest with narrow central white band bordered with magenta-purple. Inner three perianth segments magenta-purple with lower third rosy-magenta, two lower ones with narrow central white band bordered by deeper magenta-purple. Filaments shining red, greater than the dark anthers. Style branches magenta-pink. Corms survived chemical spray of an oxalis crop, about seven years ago, by the previous gardener. Sheets A and B.
