Notes:
Tree 11-13m high with pendent branchlets. Trunk becoming pale and smooth with bark peeling but long persistent and hanging. Leaves subcoriaceous, dark shining green with whitish midrib. Peduncles subterete. Buds shining, sessile. Capsules shining, broadly cylindric, tending obovoid. Specimen B of semi-juvenile shoot (presumably) of neighbouring tree 2-3m high. Cultivated as part of boundary windbreak. See Wood collection. Sheets A - D.
