Notes:
Small tree about 2.5m high with stout soft trunk containing whitish latex. Leaves puckered and undulate, dark shining green above, glaucescent beneath; veins and midrib pink on either side. Flowers cauliflorus down the trunk, some on lateral spurs, fragrant. Male flowers light orange-lobed, perianth tube 1.6-2cm long, greenish; lobes 8-10mm long, more or less oblong, strongly recurving.
