Notes:
Succulent-stemmed herb to about 80cm high. Stems and lower side of leaves very glossy dark red; upper side of leaves glossy dark greenish-red. Pedicels shining pale reddish. Corolla flat, scarlet with mauve-pink base, 5-5.5cm across; petals 2.3-3.8cm wide, obovate-cordate, tapering to base; spur 6-7.2cm, shining purplish-red. Sepals about 1.3cm long, ovate-aristate, shining, brownish-red. Sheets A and B.
