Notes:
Large tree c. 20 m high with very stout trunk. Leaves becoming very large (to about twice size of one collected), deep shining green above with whitish midrib and veins, brownish-green when young. Inflorescence whitish, very large and diffuse. Fruits to c. 4 x 3.5 cm, almost squarish but very inflated, all immature and pale green when collected. Seed to c. 1.6 cm across, rounded, tomentose.
