Habitat:
Summit ridge, vertical basalt face, in crevice.
Notes:
Young tree c. 1 m high. Leaves dull and soft. Male flowers on long pendulous peduncles, in irregular small panicles, fragrant. Corolla white; tube c. 2.5 cm long, slender; lobes c. 12 mm long, asymmetric and curving the same way (like a Catherine wheel). A single plant.
