Notes:
SYNTYPE of Ditrichum fragilicuspis Journal of Botany 71: 213 (1933). (This specimen is a duplicate of the specimen in BM which Frisvoll (Bryologist 88: 31-40, 1985) incorrectly termed the Holotype of D. fragilicuspis Dixon & Sainsbury. This name was published using two syntypes (both collected by L.B. Moore) and thus the duplicate of this collection in the Dixon herbarium would be more appropriately designated as a lectotype; CHR 490984 would then be considered an isolectotype. Allan Fife, July 1999).
